Slow Travel

Why walk?

Every two years or so, my husband Patrick and I save, and plan for a long walk or pilgrimage. We walk together, carrying our packs and organise all our travels and accommodation ourselves.
We love the opportunities walking and "Slow Travel" offer... time to slow down, leave work behind, take the time to meet people, enjoy the natural environment, discover new cultures and languages, wander through ancient amazing history, architecture and of course enjoy the local food!
There is a wonderful ever increasing group of like minded travellers and pilgrims who are happy to share their stories, information and recomendations
